My last using the mirrorless system was around the year of 2011, it was the Olympus PEN E-PL1 and E-P2. These two were a great imaging gear. Micro Four Third is a very unique system, and there's only two manufacturer that build this system...Olympus and Panasonic. After some homework and research, I opted for Olympus...not because of its history of making good camera and lenses, but, it's because of the effective IBIS that they had. It handle and take care whatever lenses that attached onto it. Now that is something truly amazing because we've got the chance to enjoy all the legacy lens out there without a single problem! And secondly, it's the Noise it produced...I just lovin' it! Disable the NR, and it will produce a healthy-grainy noise where the details still remain alright ;)
Sad to say, these two little performer didn't stay with me for long, I sold them both off for unknown reason and got my self back to DLSR system. Since the pricing for Mirrorless System's price has gone down especially used unit, I've decided to get back one for myself as an imaging collection which is the cheap little E-PM1 :) I've got my self back a mirrorless body, now I need a glass for it. Immediately right after I bought the E-PM1, I straight away hunt down a glass for it. Seems like luck is on my side, manage to purchased a Lumix kit lens 14-42mm from a friend of mine as an all rounder glass at a very very cheap price :)
Many has questioned me, why kit lens at the 1st place? well, I don't mind whether it's a kit lens or pro lens or whatsoever. What matter is, in the end of the day, its the end result that it produced. In fact, this little kit lens has got quite some quality after all and I'm very happy with its decent result. Not perfect, but it's good enough since it came from a kit lens :)
Please find below are the samples capture by these two wonder. No further editing has been made, all straight out from the cam. Only tweak were made was on the camera's inner setting...cheers !
