G1 X outing at Pangkor Island...all the way!
It's been a long while since my last outing with my organization. And this time I considered my self lucky enough to had this opportunity to go to a simple island, the Pangkor Island. It's a very simple, quiet and peaceful island. Life here is slow and easy. For those who expect much, this little island is not for you, better direct your destination to Langkawi instead or if you wanted a clear water experience, to Redang or Perhentian.
This is Pangkor Island is more towards like a little trading island for salted-fish and anchovies mainly. And also a little island for those who wanted to spend a little relaxation with friends and family without expecting much since this island don't have much 'attraction' as mentioned earlier.
Since I wanted it simple and light, I've left both my DSLR (Canon 30D) and DSLT (Sony a57) at home but just brought the mighty little Canon G1 X with me. Due to its 'limitations' and a little bit 'sluggish' characteristic of this camera, I dare not expect much from it. But, in the end of the day, it has surprised me again with its capability especially in low light atmosphere.
Below are some shots from G1 X and for once again, G1 X has delighted me with its capability again :)
cheers!
