Minolta 28-85mm f/3.5-4.5
Time flies, really. By holding this lens, I never believe it's been around since 1985, and today it still kickin' ass! Got it from a local Buy & Sell Online vendor at relatively cheap price (RM350 to be exact), this lens is truly a "sleeper" ! I've owned several sharp (and over-priced) lenses before and I've got to say that this one is one of the sharp one that I ever had. The built is solid and unique. Yeah it may look like a 'beercan' as well due to its can-like-shape and it's housed by mainly metal material all over it. This lens has made me learned about the truth in photography world. What I'm trying to say is, expensive lenses doesn't mean it is always a good or perfect lens as how it should be. Yes, no doubt, we get what we paid for, that's for sure. But also, by paying just RM350, we get the quality of near L or N lens result, that's marvelous and interesting isn't it?
Guess no matter how good I say about this lens is pointless, in photography world, I always believe in end result rather than the brand itself, seeing is believing! Happy reading ;)
