Minolta APO Tele Zoom 100-300mm
After having some upper hand close-to-mid range-zoom lens, I also need something that can reach further. There are so many choices of tele zoom lens out there but then a lot of them suffer from long end drop of softness and saturation which defeat the purpose of having a tele zoom. Some claimed those are only sharp from 75-180mm or 80-200mm but what's the point? what about from 200-300mm? We ain't getting a 75-300mm but uses only from 75-230mm, right? ...no not like that. Might as well get a shorter reach something like 55-200 or 70-210 but what I wanted is a lens that still able to give me good sharpness even at long end especially at 300mm!
At the same time, my budget was tight which made me can't afford those higher price tele zoom like the Tamron 70-300 Di USD which cost USD400 easily everywhere in the market. A lot of review has suggested go for the Beercan Series 75-300mm but I'm kinda dislike the PF/CA which will cause me wasting time editing the whole thing and bla bla bla. After a while of search, I managed to found this 100-300 APO from a Korean seller which was priced beautifully under my budget.
Got it within 4 days after paid off USD346...at first, this lens was kind of "hard to use". I mean, picture takens was out blur and also not sharp at all even stopped down at any focal length. I was rather disappointed ...but after a while of using it, I think I know "how to use" this lens already and this time is other way round, images turned up all well and sharp! This lens is truly a good buy. If you all wanted something that is still sharp at the long end, this is the lens that you can consider with ;)
Enjoy the shots ;)
